First Aid and CPR & AED Training

Public first aid courses and CPR are scheduled regularly and industry specific first aid courses can be arranged. 

Description of First Aid & CPR Courses

Emergency level First Aid with Level A CPR is a one-day course designed to provide basic first aid skills. In addition to the five core modules there are an additional 1.5 hours of elective modules covered, followed by a written exam   The Level A CPR (Adult Heartsaver) course is ideal for the general public. Cost: $60.00

 
Emergency level First Aid with Level B CPR: is a one-day course designed to provide basic first aid skills. In addition to the five core modules there are an additional 1.5 hours of elective modules covered, followed by a written exam   The Level B CPR (Adult, child & Infant) course is ideal for the daycare providers, babysitters and those with small children. Cost: $65.00

Standard Level First Aid with Level A or C CPR is a two-day course for participants requiring more than basic first aid knowledge and skills. In addition to the core modules, an additional 7.5 hours of elective modules are covered, followed by a written exam. This course meets the training requirements of most government, industry and business.
Cost: 100.00 for SFA with Level A
CPR $110.00 for SFA with level C CPR.

Re-Certification Courses: Re-certification for Standard First Aid with Level A or C CPR is a one day course for those who are still current, but due to expire. It recommended the participant review course material prior to attending the course. Cost: $60.00

Level A CPR: A 4-6 hour course providing the skills and knowledge necessary to administer CPR to an adult. Annual re-certification is recommended. Cost: $35.00

Level B CPR: A 4-6 hour course designed for those working with or parents of infants or children. Annual re-certification is recommended. Cost: $35.00

Level C CPR: A one-day comprehensive course covering administration of CPR for infants, children and adults. This course is usually required for those working in the medical profession or medical responders. This course also includes two-rescuer CPR. Annual re-certification is recommended. Cost: $50.00

AED Training: AED training can be provided upon request.
